Mandy Maxon, also known professionally as Piano Mandy, is a Central Texas pianist, vocalist, and live performer with more than 20 years of experience creating memorable musical experiences for discerning audiences. She began performing professionally in her teens, later studying jazz at The University of Texas at Austin, where she immersed herself in jazz improvisation, vocal performance, and musical storytelling. Her career has taken her from a seven-year performance residency at Nordstrom Barton Creek to some of Texas’ most celebrated hotels, clubs, restaurants, and private events, including The Four Seasons, The Driskill, Hilton Austin, The Headliners Club, SXSW, and leading country clubs.

 

Inspired by artists ranging from Ella Fitzgerald, Gerswhin, Jon Batiste, Duke Ellington, Diana Krall, Peggy Lee, and Diana Krall to Alicia Keys, Emma Smith, RAYE, and Laufey, Mandy blends the elegance of classic jazz with the soul, wit, and storytelling of contemporary music.

 

She has a particular love for clever lyrics, unforgettable melodies, and songs that make people feel something. Whether behind the piano, singing a beloved standard, or putting her own “jazzed-up” touch on a familiar favorite, Mandy brings polished musicianship, warmth, personality, and an intuitive ability to make the music fit the moment.
